Metro Uniform Policy Spurs Film
A former Metro student, now in film school in Chicago, and another local Nashville filmmaker have based their entries in a student film contest on the Metro uniform policy, also known as "standard school attire." As I expected, the school ISS was filled with low income students who received ZEROES for the whole day because they can't afford the proper uniforms. How can this kind of discrimination be allowed to damage the students in a PUBLIC school?
